The summit of Catbells is enjoyed by young and old and is a familiar with many whether it is as their first conquered Wainwright or as a familiar fell that you keep going back to. From the summit you can see Derwent water, Skidaw taking centre stage, and Bassenthwaite Lake off to the left.
